MAIN PURPOSE
The procurement leader will work in partnership with the stakeholders, to develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that are in alignment with corporate governance & compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement indirect procurement strategy, best practices, good operations and systems processes across various functions in APAC region
- Develop and implement indirect procurement policies and guidelines to support business strategies of APAC
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders to optimise resources.
- Vendor management – Adopt Global Policies to onboard and audit vendors. Manage suppliers for regional spending pool (supplier selection, quotation, negotiation, governance) to ensure we are pooling consolidated spend to negotiate based on economies of scale.
- Establish saving targets, develop tracking process, and drive activities to achieve the targets
- Communicate with stakeholders on cost trends to explain cost drivers variances and communicate on a quarterly basis to the various stakeholders
- Implement KPI for Operational Excellence
- Align with Shiseido Corporate Procurement Strategies. Ensure compliance to relevant regulatory, sustainability requirements
- Build procurement capabilities in the region across markets.
- Represent APAC RHQ to be the Regional Process Business Lead to roll our Ariba as part of Global Transformation initiatives
- Build procurement capabilities in the region across markets. Design regional indirect procurement network leveraging market resources.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Procurement certifications would be advantageous
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders to optimize resources
- Results oriented with an attention to detail and accuracy
- Good supplier/ vendor management relationship skills
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Experience with Ariba would be advantageous
