AVP/Senior Associate, IT Risk Management - Service Delivery Engineer, Technology and Operations

Business Function  

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.  

Responsibilities 

• Actively participate in the Bank’s DevOps, SRE teams to embed controls and develop risk and control dashboards
• Evolve the way IT configurations, processes, and controls are assessed, monitored and mitigated
• Ability to use analytical thinking and automation (scripting) to solve security, risk and control issues
• Collaborate with security architecture and engineers, infrastructure and applications teams and vendors to identify innovative security as well as controls and actively apply these solutions to advance DBS Group security and controls posture in our internal processes and outsourced vendor operations
• Develop software solutions by analysing information needs, conferring with users; studying system flows, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition requirements, solution development and proposed solutions
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentations, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and charts, code comments and clear code
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming
• Improves risk and control identification by conducting system analysis recommending changes in processes and procedures
• Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and service issues
• Accomplishes team objectives by completed related results as needed
• Support other Developers by providing advice and by working on issues collaboratively

Requirements

• Experience with different programming languages such as Python, Java
• Good understanding and working knowledge on web technology frameworks
• Good working knowledge on protocols, including SSL, HTTPS and LDAPS4. Have a good working knowledge on databases CRUD, through object relational mappers. Good command of the SQL language
• Good working experience in development of RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of data visualization tools/open source such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI or ElasticSearch Kibana
• Good working knowledge on software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipeline. Experience on GIT, SVN and Jenkins is a plus
• Experience on defect management using tools such as JiRA9. Knowledge of Agile Methodology specifically SCRUM
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and diagnostic and analytical skills11. Able to manage initiatives on his/her own with little or no supervision
• Data analytics, various programming languages (e.g., JSON, yaml, python, etc.), digital tools (e.g., Grafana/ kibana, Prometheus,
• Good interpersonal and communication skills - spoken and written
• Good planning and other project management skills, including strong organisation skills
