JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director, IT Business Partner & Head of Infra Apps & Customer Sustainability COE is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the business segment and the IT department. This role involves understanding the business needs and objectives of the segment and collaborating with the IT department to develop and implement technology solutions that support these goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Demand Management: The position involves strategic and demand management of platform-specific services, including recommending strategy decisions and goals for services and digital transformation, providing input and reviews on IT strategy, service portfolio, and financial management for platform-specific applications, and leading innovation strategies.

  • Service Design and Delivery: The role includes approving new service requirements based on business needs, overseeing service catalog design, managing the platform’s capacity and performance requirements, and ensuring effective communication of service failures to users.

  • Compliance and Governance: The Director is responsible for governing IT compliance and risk management for all platform-related technology initiatives, authorizing the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), and participating in research to recommend new services.

  • Infrastructure Application/Platform Performance: Analyzing trends in scalability and performance over time, developing and deploying new features within budget and targets, enhancing the speed of feature delivery, adopting secure design practices to reduce cyber risks, minimizing response times for incident resolution, and improving customer satisfaction by reviewing feedback on new features.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

  • Experience in a similar role within a Multinational Corporation, ideally within the Energy sector.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Project management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in fund management and investment technology.

  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with a commitment to high-quality delivery and meeting deadlines.

  • Experience managing enterprise systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades, while minimizing operational disruptions.

  • Familiarity with change management processes and an understanding of business processes to align systems with organizational workflows.
