DescriptionPerforms functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly builds and conduct tests as scheduled and according to required specifications, schematic drawings and work instructions.
- Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
- Report manufacturing problems and assist Manufacturing Engineers in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol.
- Must be able to work in a team.
- Have a Quality and Productivity mindset.
EH&S:
- Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
- Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to his/her supervisor.
- Responsible for performing a risk assessment of work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions.
- Comply with EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
- Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement programs within the company to reduce waste, reduce cost, reduce errors and improve productivity.

Qualifications
- NITEC/or Higher NITEC in Engineering at the minimum, with 1 to 2 years of manufacturing Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience.
- Able to read and understand schematic/ mechanical drawings
- Capable of independently carryout assembly of <2 Processes on a single Platform.
- Experience in Gas Box, Panels assembly for the Semicon Industry and the various applications preferred
- Willing to work in cleanroom environment with shift system (12-hour shift): 8 am to 8 pm and 8 pm to 8 am
- Entry level candidates are welcome
- Rotating shift day/ night once a quarter or once in 2 quarters
- 3-4 / 4-3 shift pattern
- Working attire: Full jumpsuit with mask
