Responsibilities
You are part of the Finance Operations team and will be responsible for managing BCA’s Fixed Assets accounting function. Your responsibilities include:
Main Duties
• Manage Fixed Assets Accounting outsourcing contract. Work outsourced to contractors include asset verification, asset tagging, updating of asset additions and disposals in fixed asset register etc.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment of Fixed Asset development projects undertaken by BCA.
• Ensure proper reporting of Fixed Assets managed by BCA on behalf of other agencies
• Partner business groups in the management of Fixed Assets throughout the asset’s lifecycle.
• Perform month-end and year-end financial closing activities, liaising with auditors to support annual financial report preparation.
• Review and implement Fixed Assets policies and procedures.
• Support any other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
• A good degree in Business/Finance/Accountancy.
• At least 2 years of working experience in Fixed Assets Accounting preferred.
• Familiar with Workday IT System preferred
• Proactive, willing to take up challenges and able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively as a team.
