Job Description:ย They are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic healthcare team in Singapore. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing holistic nursing care to patients across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community care facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to prescribed protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Provide patient and family education on health management, medication administration, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and implementing fall prevention measures.
- Clinical Documentation:
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) or paper-based charts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Complete nursing assessments, care plans, and other documentation in a timely and thorough manner, reflecting the patient's condition and response to treatment.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and support staff, to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, providing emotional support, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Participate in patient care conferences, case reviews, and interdisciplinary meetings to contribute insights, share information, and facilitate care coordination.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure issued by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care, community care, or specialty nursing area preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing patient needs and clinical environments.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
