Job Purpose

The Data Solutions lead is a strategic role that helps to transform IBG into an AI-fuelled organization by driving the agenda for data science. This role will need to understand business drivers, work with seasoned data professionals to deliver solutions, partner stakeholders to establish enablers for success, and be accountable for the realization of benefits.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive IBG’s agenda for data science in order to transform the business into an AI-fueled organization.
• Work with IBG to understand business drivers & priorities, and identify opportunities to apply analytics.
• Prioritize build efforts by business impact and hold accountability over derived value.
• Work with data scientists, engineers & translators/analysts through the solution development lifecycle.
• Establish people/process/technology enablers beyond analytics to realize value from data solutions.
• Influence senior stakeholders to support change management activities required for successful implementation of data solutions.
• Manage working relationships across business, product, marketing, analytics and technology.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of work experience pertaining to analytics in financial services, preferably in bank’s inhouse analytics units or via consulting for banking clients.
• Proven track record driving & delivering value from new analytics initiatives.
• Strong analytics background, with a good understanding of advanced analytics including data science and engineering.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills to push the boundaries of business and technical status quos.
• Passion to help business with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
