Support the Section Head in:
  1. The preparation/review of FCR’s regulatory submissions to MAS and other local authorities as well as the Bank’s compliance with the MAS requirements on MLA, MCB, AMR, etc;
  2. Ensuring proper account settlement of the Branch and co-ordinate the submission of financial/management/tax reports to Head Office.
  3. Coordinating the Branch’s financial audit as well as preparation of the local statutory accounts in accordance with the regulatory requirements of MAS and Companies’ Act.
  4. Training/coaching staff.

Financial Reporting & Tax Administration Section (FCR) is responsible for financial and managerial accounting, tax reporting and financial controls of the Branch.

What you should have:
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in a bank – auditors with banking audit experience will also be considered for this role
  • Conversance with financial reporting standards and regulatory changes
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to multitask will help the candidate perform successfully in this role
