Support the Section Head in:
- The preparation/review of FCR’s regulatory submissions to MAS and other local authorities as well as the Bank’s compliance with the MAS requirements on MLA, MCB, AMR, etc;
- Ensuring proper account settlement of the Branch and co-ordinate the submission of financial/management/tax reports to Head Office.
- Coordinating the Branch’s financial audit as well as preparation of the local statutory accounts in accordance with the regulatory requirements of MAS and Companies’ Act.
- Training/coaching staff.
Financial Reporting & Tax Administration Section (FCR) is responsible for financial and managerial accounting, tax reporting and financial controls of the Branch.What you should have:- At least 8 years of relevant experience in a bank – auditors with banking audit experience will also be considered for this role
- Conversance with financial reporting standards and regulatory changes
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to multitask will help the candidate perform successfully in this role
