Accountant

Position Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role plays a crucial part in the financial health of the organization.

Key Accountabilities - including but not limited to:

• Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements
• Assist in preparation for audits and liaising with external auditors
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist in tax compliance and reporting
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives in the finance department

Working Relationships

• Internal: Collaborate with various teams including finance, operations, and management
• External: Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and vendors

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with ERP accounting software preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
