In this role, you will work closely with the actuaries, data engineers and technical accountants to build the database solution for South Asia. He/she will be driving the data management & database strategy for South Asia markets, including but not limited to data standardization, cleansing, validation, and other value-add services & initiatives.
Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities
Support the formation of database solution and data pipeline for South Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and India)
Design and refine modules to process bordereaux data, including standardization, cleansing and validation
Draw preliminary insights from the data and perform necessary data transformations
Communicate any identified data issues with various internal stakeholders
Streamline the data flow from central database to other tools / platforms for the purpose of technical accounting and experience analysis
Provide support on value-add services and data initiatives via collaboration with other departments
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous internship in data or actuarial field in a similar environment is not required but will be advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Proficiency in SQL, preferably with hands-on experience in university or work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Required Education
- 3rd or final year pursuing BBA with a major in Actuarial, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant fields
