DescriptionWe are seeking an Advanced Engineer, Manufacturing Industrial Engineering for a 24 months period.
The Advanced Engineer, Manufacturing Industrial Engineering is responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing and logistics processes to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to establish industrial engineering standards, drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives, optimize labor and capacity utilization, and support digital transformation efforts while ensuring solutions remain practical and aligned with manufacturing realities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current manufacturing practices & material flow (covering manufacturing & logistic operations) and identify those value-added and non-value-added activities to solve design challenges.
- Study operations sequence and material flow time to determine labor hour for New Products.
- Maintain required manufacturing process documentation, including process flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis.
- Enforce quality control to reduce waste & improve the efficiency/productivity of each operation process.
- Support manufacturing/logistics efficiency efforts for the key sites (cycle time, maximize utilization / OEE improvement, capacity optimization, data integration, automation and process simplification).Β
- Own and govern Industrial Engineering (IE) standards, including:
- Facilitation of cross-functional discussions and alignment forums.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of best practices.
- Definition and maintenance of labor standards and productivity metrics.
- Serve as the escalation point for IE-related technical decisions
- Provide operational support for critical and high-impact issues, including bottleneck analysis, urgent capacity constraints, productivity gaps, and complex improvement projects.
- Operate in a hybrid role that safeguards manufacturing productivity and IE discipline, while ensuring the digital transformation is firmly grounded in manufacturing realities
- Coach and develop junior IE engineers in core IE methodologies, systems thinking, and data-driven decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering/ Project Management or related field.
- Typically up to 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing efficiency and expansion project conceptualization and implementation.
- Technical knowledge in reporting tool (Tableau, Microsoft Excel Power Point, Six Sigma Tools, Autocad (layout optimization))
- Innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver.
- Team-oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills in relating to both internal and external suppliers.
- Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment, with good integrity and character.
