Cloud Migration Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Develop effective cloud migration strategies based on business requirements.
• Assist with migrations to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, and other cloud platforms.
• Configure and optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and scalability.
• Transfer applications, workloads, files, and business data securely to cloud platforms.
• Identify potential migration risks and develop appropriate solutions.
• Troubleshoot cloud connectivity, configuration, and performance issues.
• Implement cloud security, backup, access control, and data protection practices.
• Monitor migrated environments and provide ongoing technical support.
• Maintain accurate documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and migration procedures.
• Work closely with clients to understand their technology goals and requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud computing, infrastructure, or systems administration.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365.
• Understanding of networking, virtualization, servers, storage, and data migration.
• Familiarity with cloud security and identity management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, CompTIA, or other cloud certifications are a plus.
