Computer Operator

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Mode: Full-time 
Work Mode: On-site

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor application job flows scheduled by job scheduling software (e.g. Control-M) and react to exceptions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform job submission, backup, recovery, and service restarts in accordance with SOP or approved requests
• Perform first-level application, system and batch problem determination and escalation to appropriate teams in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
• Manage IT-related incidents
• Maintain issue logs for incidents and problems for all software, hardware, and applications

Key Skills:

• A good knowledge and/or hands-on experience in working with different operating systems (AS400, Mainframe and Unix/Linux)
• Control-M tool-based job execution and monitoring skills
• Create, assign incident tickets to various support teams (e.g. using Remedy tool
