A deep understanding of financial services data—particularly trading-related datasets such as market data feeds, trade executions, and mechanisms of the OTC market — is essential. You will work closely with global data teams, technology, and business stakeholders while upholding a high level of accountability for time-sensitive deliverables and clear, effective communication across all levels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyse trading and market data to generate business insights and support decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain scalable analytics and reporting solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of recurring and ad-hoc analytical outputs.

  • Strengthen data quality, governance, and process controls across analytics workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with Technology and Cybersecurity teams to enforce secure handling of sensitive client data, implement robust access controls, and establish infrastructure-level monitoring and alerting where required.

  • Continuously improve and maintain the reporting infrastructure to support business growth and long-term operational resilience.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor degree (Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a closely related quantitative field).

  • At least 5 years’ experience in fixed income derivatives trading or related trading data and analytics role.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

  • Proficiency with modern data platforms and business intelligence tools.

  • Experience with version control and collaborative software development practices.

  • Ability to prototype and iterate analytical solutions efficiently using modern tooling.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do mindset.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred skills

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, and Tableau.

  • Experience in financial markets analytics and electronic trading environments.
