The Healthcare Industry Lead is accountable for industry-led growth, strategic account expansion, and net new logo creation across Southeast Asia. The role serves as the senior commercial and industry authority for Healthcare, responsible for driving demand across a broad enterprise technology portfolio spanning cloud, security, data platforms, and digital transformation solutions.

Reporting into the senior commercial leadership team, the Healthcare Industry Lead drives market penetration, executive engagement, and pipeline creation across public and private healthcare organisations. The role owns industry strategy, customer opportunity shaping, and deal orchestration, working in close partnership with sales execution teams, portfolio leaders, and presales to progress opportunities from strategy through to contract close.

This position does not carry direct account ownership or closing responsibility. Instead, it operates as a senior industry overlay role within a structured sales governance model, influencing deal direction, value articulation, and executive alignment in partnership with quota-carrying teams.

  • Drive net new logo creation and strategic expansion across public and private healthcare providers, including hospitals, health systems, research institutions, and regulatory bodies.

  • Identify priority industry segments, target accounts, and transformation themes to focus commercial effort.

Commercial Leadership & Sales Orchestration

  • Own Healthcare pipeline creation, opportunity qualification, and customer strategy.

  • Lead deal shaping, value narrative development, and executive alignment across complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits.

Value-Based Selling

  • Develop and articulate value propositions linked to patient outcomes, clinical efficiency, operational resilience, compliance, and long-term cost optimisation.

  • Apply disciplined enterprise sales methodologies, including MEDDIC, to ensure rigorous qualification and execution.

Executive Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with hospital CEOs, CIOs, CMIOs, CISOs, and senior government healthcare stakeholders.

  • Engage confidently at executive and board level as an industry advisor, not a product seller.

Ecosystem & Partner Leadership

  • Lead Healthcare-specific partner motions with hyperscalers and ecosystem partners across cloud, data, and enterprise platforms.

  • Drive co-sell strategies and joint account planning to accelerate pipeline development and conversion.

Market Representation

  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insight, and industry feedback to portfolio, delivery, and marketing teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 8–12 years of enterprise technology sales and industry leadership experience, with meaningful exposure to Healthcare.

  • Proven success driving industry-led pipeline across cloud, security, data centre, and/or digital and AI platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to shape and influence large, complex enterprise and public sector healthcare deals.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT environments, data security, regulatory compliance, and mission-critical operations.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and hybrid infrastructure models.

  • Strong executive presence, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management capability.

  • Deep familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies and governance disciplines.
