Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and analytical IT Business Analyst to bridge business objectives with technology solutions across digital and enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the successful delivery of digital products and technology solutions.

This role requires strong business analysis skills, stakeholder engagement, and experience supporting Agile delivery to ensure technology initiatives deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify improvement opportunities and recommend technology solutions.
  • Conduct current-state and future-state analysis, including gap analysis, impact assessment, and root cause analysis.
  • Gather, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Collaborate with business users, product owners, developers, QA teams, and vendors throughout project delivery.
  • Support Agile delivery by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and release planning.
  • Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, defect management, and business validation.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support business readiness activities, including user communications, training, and change management.
  • Prepare project documentation, business process maps, functional specifications, and presentation materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar business analysis role.
  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience supporting system implementation, application development, or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital transformation, enterprise applications, or cloud-based solutions.
  • Understanding of APIs, system integration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or SaaS), and data governance principles.
  • Experience with business process modelling using BPMN, Visio, or Lucidchart.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
  • Experience using SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Professional certifications such as IIBA (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP), PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum certifications are advantageous.
