As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Enterprise Technology, Infrastructure Platforms, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.
Job responsibilities
- Works with stakeholders in the region to help understand local requirements, implement local solutions and align to strategic target state.
- Translates highly complex technical issues to leadership, to drive firm’s innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well-informed decisions about target state architecture
- Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices
- Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
- Provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
- Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or similar.
- In-depth understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements, particularly within the APAC region.
- Strong understanding of financial services industry trends, regulatory requirements, and the competitive landscape within the APAC region
