Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all safety, security, traffic regulations, PSA regulations, and other government regulations.
  • Conduct daily warehouse operations, including shipments, inbound processing, storage, relocation, picking, packing, and outbound activities to ensure efficiency and order.
  • Operate handling vehicles according to SOPs, customer requirements, and safe work practices.
  • Perform port clearance inspections, ensuring all vehicles are thoroughly checked for defects, and manage necessary documentation for port clearance.
  • Accurately tally chassis numbers against vehicle lists, inspect vehicles for defects, and promptly submit detailed defect reports with photos.
  • Verify container numbers and seal numbers before stuffing/unstuffing containers, and take required photos for reporting purposes.
  • Maintain operational documents with precision and ensure they are returned to the account holder in a timely and orderly manner.
  • Rearrange vehicles to optimize space for new shipments and inbound traffic.
  • Transfer vehicles from inbound areas to designated storage locations, updating location information promptly for management.
  • Perform periodic cycle counts and stock takes as scheduled to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Uphold warehouse cleanliness and organization to meet 5S + 1 standards.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings and continuous improvement sessions (Gemba), and report any issues or findings.
  • Assist in coordinating team efforts to complete assigned tasks and support various warehousing activities, including operating forklifts and power pallet jacks (if certified).

Qualifications:

  • Experience in logistics/warehouse operations or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance regarding warehouse operations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery (forklift certification is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
