Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with delivery ownership, overseeing cross-functional squads throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality implementations. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), OmniStudio, and enterprise system integrations, with a proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce programs.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end Salesforce solution architectures, including data models, security, automation, integrations, and application design.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Lead architectural decisions across Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), and OmniStudio implementations.
- Conduct architecture, technical design, and code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive platform scalability, performance optimisation, and technical debt management.
- Lead cross-functional delivery squads through the full software delivery lifecycle, from solution design to deployment and post-production support.
- Break down complex business requirements into manageable workstreams and sprint deliverables.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point, resolving architectural and implementation challenges.
- Mentor and coach developers and technical consultants on Salesforce architecture principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Architect and implement Salesforce Service Cloud capabilities, including Case Management, Omni-Channel Routing, Knowledge Management, and Entitlements.
- Design and implement Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) for regulated or public sector business processes.
- Develop OmniStudio components, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Recommend the appropriate solution approach using OmniStudio, Flow, Apex, or Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST APIs, MuleSoft, Platform Events, OAuth, identity providers, and middleware technologies.
- Ensure integration solutions meet enterprise security, governance, resilience, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to Salesforce architecture standards, governance frameworks, Centre of Excellence (CoE) initiatives, and DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including experience as a Salesforce Architect or Technical Lead.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, including Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge Management, and Entitlements.
- Experience implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) or similar regulated-industry Salesforce platforms.
- Hands-on experience with OmniStudio, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Strong technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and Salesforce platform architecture, including security models, sharing rules, and governor limits.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise system integrations using REST APIs, middleware, identity providers, OAuth, and SSO technologies.
- Proven experience leading technical delivery teams and delivering large-scale Salesforce implementations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce Shield, Salesforce Centre of Excellence (CoE), and Salesforce DevOps practices (SFDX, CI/CD, sandbox management, and release management) is an advantage.
