Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and drive the technical product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify product opportunities and develop strategies based on user needs and technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish product vision, objectives, and success metrics.

Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and support architecture decisions.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed features and recommend alternatives where necessary.
  • Balance technical debt with new feature development.
  • Guide technical decision-making with consideration for scalability, performance, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.

Product Development

  • Develop detailed technical specifications, requirements, and user stories.
  • Prioritise the product backlog based on business value, user impact, and technical constraints.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and grooming sessions.
  • Manage dependencies across multiple technical workstreams.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and software engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Work with business process owners and relevant stakeholders to gather, analyse, and validate business and technical requirements.

Data & Analytics

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    Use data and analytics to support product decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor technical metrics, system performance, and product effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience in software development projects.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile environments and with cloud platforms.
  • Strong ability to work independently and effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience developing business cases and user stories.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts and participate in stakeholder requirements discussions.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Good knowledge of web, mobile, and cloud technologies, including their impact on solution design and technical feasibility.
