Oversees and directs the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of production equipment and facilities. Ensures compliance to all established processes and operations for existing products and NPIs.
Implements business plans and technical project objectives to meet the short- and long- term goals of the organization. (Assurance of Supply,
Cost Savings, In-Sourcing, Continuous Improvement, etc).
Manages a team of employees (multi-nationalities). Focuses on people development, support multi-skill training and increase productivity.
Collaborates with engineering teams to improve first pass yield, increase production efficiency and reduce losses. Works closely with quality to ensure strict compliance with good manufacturing practices guidelines and compliance to product specifications.
Prepares documentation, reports and standard operating procedures.
Manages operations overhead and cost.
Participates in NPI rollout initiatives, including prototype build and ramping of the new product to volume production.
Accountable for key metrics, which may include output targets, overheads, product quality and reliability goals.
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience leading a team of technicians.
Good supervisory skills, including leading, motivating, and developing others.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Past exposure to instrument manufacturing, with strong business acumen, will be an added advantage.
