Professional Development Manager (6111)

Reporting to our Singapore Country Manager, you  will lead and deliver the Professional Development offer for their region, working closely with Learning & Innovation (L&I) to understand the core offer and the Singapore Country Manager to understand the needs of the local audience to provide contextualised PD that meets the diverse needs of our members in Singapore.

Your duties with include:

• Conduct research to determine the learning needs of members in Singapore. This includes the implementation of new/changed standards, changes to laws impacting accounting/finance professionals, budget pronouncements and economic plans.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine members’ learning needs.
• Develop the annual Professional Development plan to meet member needs based on research and member knowledge.
• Develop Professional Development activities in conjunction with internal and external experts aligned with the Content Management Framework to ensure consideration is given to the core offer developed by our Learning and Innovation teams.
• Support the divisional teams to ensure all approved Professional Development activities are conducted in an efficient and effective manner, including venue arrangements, delegate registration, speaker arrangement, speaker preparation, speaker acknowledgment, sponsorship and paper distribution.
• Work closely with Marketing and Communication team to ensure an appropriate strategy to support Professional Development portfolio to maximise attendance at Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events.
• Financial Management and Performance monitoring and continuous improvement of Professional Development activities

About You:

• A tertiary qualification, preferably in a Business or Education discipline, would be highly advantageous.
• Experience in research and understanding audience needs to determine appropriate learning products.
• Proficiency in analysing data and metrics to ensure effectiveness of professional development and continuous improvement of the CPD offer.
• Experience in planning and execution of annual plans to ensure effective implementation, including effective budget development and monitoring.
• Experience managing external stakeholder relationships and strong communication and negotiation skills to identify and maintain partnerships to support delivery.
