The QA Technician, Production Quality Engineering (PQE) is responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards before release.  The role focuses on identifying defects, verifying functionality and ensuring compliance with specifications, procedures and regulatory requirements.  This role works closely with various departments to prevent issues, improve processes and maintain consistent product quality.

This position reports to the Senior / Principal Engineer, PQE and is part of the Regulatory Affairs/ Quality Assurance (RAQA) department – PQE located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform outgoing product release inspection duties and reporting of non-conformances.
  • Represent RAQA Department in ad-hoc committees and cross functional projects.
  • Report and trend Non-conforming Equipment Reports, and assist engineer in developing improvements

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • GCE O Level, Nitec or Diploma in Engineering field candidate who are looking for assignment in quality assurance role.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections, testing and verification.
  • Defect identification, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of testing methods, tools or equipments, e.g., caliper etc.
  • Familiar with quality control processes and audit requirements.
  • Basis data analysis and attention to metrics (defect rates, trends).
