Intro:
You will be responsible for providing leadership for management of a portfolio of clientele which includes private and public limited companies and foreign companies in area of advisory and compliance work in relevant company legislations and regulations. You are responsible for marketing our services to existing and potential clients. You will work closely with local and CoE team in an effective manner to motivate and coach the team, to continuously meet clients ‘expectations, to optimize the work process and to maintain close contacts with key clients.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Manage full spectrum of corporate secretarial work involving coordination of board meeting, minutes writing and resolution, facilitate advice and support to board members of client companies
- Enforce and ensure statutory and compliance issues are met
- Actively interact with clients and counter parties including legal counsels, auditors and tax advisor to meet key deliveries
- Build and maintain relationship and service quality, responsible achieving yearly team performance target
- Actively contribute and identify opportunity to the development and implementation of procedures and controls and implementing process improvement as necessary
- Proactive provide technical training and share knowledge to team members
- Coach and train team members to enable them to carry out their roles effectively and efficiently
- Other ad hoc projects
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) qualification with at least a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a corporate secretarial practice which include servicing listed clients
- Possess a good understanding of Singapore Companies Act, CAP 50 and ACRA filling
- Experience in motivating, training and leading professional staff is essential
- Meticulous individual with strong sense of responsibility, pro-active client servicing aptitude and a commercial acumen in managing a portfolio of clients
- Willing to hands-on and capable of driving changes and initiatives
- Positive working attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
