This role is instrumental in shaping our employer brand, optimizing hiring processes, and building a scalable and inclusive talent acquisition function that supports our ambitious growth plans across the region. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of in-house and agency recruitment experience, with a strong track record in people leadership, talent development, and recruitment operations. The Plot Thickens: Job Description
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute APAC-wide talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Partner with senior HR and business leaders on workforce planning, succession, and critical role pipelines
- Contribute to broader HR strategies by leveraging cross-functional experience in areas such as performance management, employee engagement, or HR operations
Team & Capability Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing TA team across APAC markets
- Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience
- Deliver training and capability-building initiatives for TA and hiring managers to elevate hiring effectiveness
Operational Excellence
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment placement and processes for critical and leadership roles
- Enhance sourcing strategies, talent pipelines, and data-driven hiring decisions
- Optimize recruitment systems and workflows to ensure compliance, scalability, and efficiency
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing consultative hiring guidance
- Manage and evaluate external agency partners to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery
Data Analytics, Reporting & Innovation
- Generate and present data stories to help stakeholders understand hiring progress, gaps, and areas for further collaboration and development
- Build and cultivate strong talent pipelines, talent dashboard reports and metrics
- Leverage latest innovative technologies (including but not limited to AI tools) to drive further TA efficiencies
Attributes of the Protagonist (That’s You)
- Proven expertise in building and scaling recruitment strategies, processes, and teams across diverse, fast-paced, and matrixed environments.
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and align hiring efforts with organizational goals.
- Exceptional team leadership and people development abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing, regionally distributed TA teams.
- Data-driven mindset, experienced in leveraging recruitment metrics, tools, and systems (e.g., ATS, dashboards) to improve performance and candidate experience.
- Passion for employer branding and inclusive hiring, with experience driving DEI initiatives and enhancing talent brand visibility across markets.
- Collaborative and agile approach, comfortable working cross-functionally with HR, Operations, and business leaders on workforce planning and talent initiatives.
The Hero’s Background: Qualifications
- 8-10 years’ experience in similar role, with at least 3–5 experience driving talent acquisition across APAC, ideally with a mix of in-house and agency recruitment backgrounds.
- Proven blend of in-house and recruitment agency experience
- With “can do” attitude.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, bonus to be fluent in another Asian language
- Be proactive in dealing with changes as the business evolves with time
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and manner
- Ability to negotiate effectively
