Job Summary

The Senior Spare Parts Planner role is responsible for aftermarket spare parts forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply scheduling to ensure high service levels and efficient stock management. The role leverages ERP/MRP systems and data analysis to resolve complex planning issues and works cross-functionally to support service operations and new product introductions.

What you will be responsible for:

Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Develop and maintain spare parts demand forecasts based on historical consumption, installed base, product lifecycle, and sales projections.
  

Inventory & Replenishment Management

• Monitor stock levels and define replenishment strategies to balance availability and cost.
• Optimize safety stock, MOQ, and reorder points.

Order & Supply Scheduling

• Follow up on purchase orders and supplier delivery schedules; coordinate urgent spare parts needs.

Process & System Management

• Operate ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and drive process improvements in planning and inventory control.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with service, engineering, procurement, logistics, and finance teams.
• Support spare parts readiness for new product introduction (NPI).

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Track KPIs such as spare parts availability, forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
• Identify root causes of variances and propose improvement actions.

How you will stand out:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years in spare parts planning, material planning, or supply chain, with at least 2 years in a senior/independent role.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP APO/IBP preferred). Strong Excel and data analysis skills. BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) a plus.
• Solid supply chain knowledge (forecasting, inventory control, logistics).
• Good communication, cross-functional coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of mentoring junior team members.
