DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for busbar systems, including installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to busbar products, components, and systems.
- Offer on-site or remote assistance to customers for the proper setup and maintenance of busbar systems.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including RCA reports, manuals, and procedures for customers.
- Ensure all busbar systems comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support other functional teams (Sales, Product, Projects) with technical expertise, including product recommendations and feasibility studies.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Work closely with the engineering team to provide feedback and assist with product development and improvements.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to identify spare parts p/n and ensure timely delivery and support of spare parts.
- Provide training to service operation engineers, customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of busbar systems.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and technological advancements related to busbar systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- Proven and minimum of 3years experience in busbar system installation, commissioning, and maintenance within data centers or critical power infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Experience in providing technical support and delivering customer service.
- Hands-on experience with thermal scanning, power distribution systems, and troubleshooting electrical faults.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Experience with testing and commissioning procedures for electrical distribution systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and internal teams effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Certification in Electrical Safety or Busbar System Installation.
- Experience with critical power infrastructure in data centers, advanced busbar technologies, such as modular busbar systems, busway, and electrical distribution networks
- Familiarity with Vertiv products and installation standards.
