Software Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software teams, projects and workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of secure, scalable and high-quality solutions.
• Design and develop front-end applications, backend services, APIs and software modules.
• Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, Design and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive Agile delivery, including planning, technical design, code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Establish testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Analyse existing systems and recommend improvements to architecture, technologies and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage risks and provide practical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to strengthen team capability.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field, with 6+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong experience with C#, Java, TypeScript/Angular, React or Next.js.
• Good knowledge of software architecture, OOP, REST APIs, microservices, databases and SDLC practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Git and Agile/Scrum.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, IaC and DevSecOps is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a mission-driven environment with a strong focus on security, quality and reliability.
