Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Software Manager who has grown from a strong software development foundation into a technical leader. This role is ideal for someone with at least 7 years of software development experience who has progressed into leading teams and building systems from the ground up.


You will lead a cross-functional team across Product, Frontend, Backend, and QA, while remaining deeply involved in architecture and technical decision-making. You will play a critical role in designing and delivering a scalable, cloud-based platform that supports game deployment and management at a global scale.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Lead the design and development of a scalable, secure, cloud-based platform from the ground up
  • Own system architecture, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Stay hands-on in both frontend and backend domains to guide engineering decisions
  • Drive best practices in system design, coding standards, and software architecture
  • Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including post-launch support


Product & Delivery Ownership

  • Define and execute the software roadmap aligned with business and product goals
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Deliver high-quality features on time, balancing speed and robustness
  • Build and evolve a sustainable software delivery system, including CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide Level 3 (L3) support for critical platform issues


Engineering Excellence

  • Establish strong DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring
  • Ensure secure coding practices and platform security standards are implemented
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and team productivity
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, version control, and system reliability


People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team across multiple disciplines
  • Provide hands-on coaching, code reviews, and technical guidance
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of top talent


Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of software development experience before moving into technical leadership or manager roles
  • Demonstrated experience building a software delivery platform or system from scratch
  • Strong hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development
  • Solid expertise in software architecture and system design
  • Experience building and scaling production systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of secure software development practices
  • Experience working across the full SDLC
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
