About the Role 

As the Business Analytics Team Lead, you will play an important role in helping IBG use data to improve our business. You will work closely with business leaders, marketing, sales, and product teams to turn data into clear, useful insights. You will recommend new data solutions, including Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization technologies. You will also lead your team to deliver high-impact projects, focusing on what is most practical and valuable to the business. This role needs a hands-on leader with a positive attitude, ready to drive IBG into a new era of data-driven success. 

Job Responsibilities  

• Stakeholder Management 
  • Work with business, marketing, sales, and product teams to lead the data agenda. 
  • Recommend data solutions, share insights, and advise on how to use technologies like Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization. 
  • Explain complex data ideas in a simple way for both technical and non-technical teams to help them make better decisions. 
• Project Management 
  • Prioritize projects based on what is feasible, the business value they bring, and available resources. 
  • Take full ownership of project delivery, making sure they support IBG’s strategic goals. 
  • Set project timelines, milestones, and KPIs, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. 
• Team Leadership 
  • Recruit, coach, and manage a strong Business Analytics team. 
  • Set clear goals, give regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews. 
  • Encourage sharing of knowledge and collaboration within the team. 
  • Mentor team members on visualization tools like Qlik Sense and share best practices. 
  • Promote continuous learning, innovation, and adaptability within the team. 
• Data Analysis and Insights 
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track key business metrics. 
  • Keep up with new trends and technologies in data analytics to continuously improve team capabilities.

Job Requirements 

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in analytics, preferably in the financial services industry. 
• Strong business understanding and deep knowledge of the financial services sector. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well across different teams. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and an open mindset for new ideas. 
• Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude. 
• A degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
