Product Strategy and Innovation:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive product roadmap for our ocean services, focusing on the Intra-Asia trade lane.
  • Identify market trends, customer requirements, and competitive insights to innovate and enhance product offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations) to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Building Intra Asia volume to strengthen the negotiation power with carriers.

Market Analysis and Trade Lane Expertise:

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis across Asia, encompassing route profitability, capacity trends, and regulatory changes.Leverage extensive expertise in the intra-Asia shipping market to forecast demand, manage pricing strategies, and optimise product performance.

Stakeholder and Carrier Negotiation:

  • Build and maintain robust relationships with shipping carriers, port authorities, and trade partners throughout Asia.
  • Lead contract negotiations and operational discussions to secure favourable terms and ensure service excellence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex issues and process enhancements.

Operational Excellence and Compliance:

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of ocean product performance, from initial concept to operational delivery.
  • Ensure that all product offerings comply with international regulations and regional trade requirements.
  • Continuously refine processes to enhance operational efficiency while upholding cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Reporting and Performance Management:

  • Develop, monitor, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
  • Utilise data and market insights to improve ongoing product management and operational excellence.

  • Proficient in contract negotiation, market analysis, and utilisation of industry-standard analytics tools.

Education & Experience

  • Β A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, international business, maritime logistics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in product management or commercial operations within the ocean shipping industry, demonstrating proven expertise in the Intra-Asia trade lane
