KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director of Shiseido Travel Retail, you will act as a key business partner, requiring collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. With a strategic and collaboration mindset, you will play a key role in STR’s business planning cycles, to identify financial trends, drive growth and highlight risks and opportunities.

 

  • Work closely with Marketing and Commercial stakeholders to manage the business planning process, not limited to communication, template preparation, system support, and budget review meetings.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business planning objectives between STR and Brandholders are aligned.
  • Support the preparation and delivery (when necessary) of executive presentations and business updates. Share business and financial insights with management with a compelling and impactful narrative.
  • Challenge and guide stakeholders by evaluating results from a commercial and financial standpoint.
  • Ensure that Finance accountabilities are managed and delivered effectively across Marketing and Commercial.
  • Enhance planning processes and business partnering capabilities through best practice sharing, training, and reporting systems/tools development.
  • Seek continuous improvements around the business planning process to strengthen efficiency and to instil an ROI mindset in the organisation.
  • Support the implementation of Shiseido global systems and process harmonization.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

 

  • At least 8 years of commercial finance experience, within a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
  • Experience in business planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, etc).
  • Ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Hands-on with excellent Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.
  • Working knowledge of financial systems e.g., SAP, BPC, BI, and SAP Cloud Analytics is an added advantage.
  • Good business acumen, knowledge of key business performance indicators, strong commercial awareness.
  • Flexible in approach, able to deliver based on changing business needs effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong integrity and desire to work in a company with a high-integrity culture.
  • Global perspective and culturally sensitive.
