Your role

We are looking for a Vision Care Specialist within Leonardo, EssilorLuxottica’s unique organization dedicated to fostering a culture of education for both employees and customers, you will be responsible for developing, disseminating, and executing of professional education programs to support people development, internally for all our employees, and externally for customers and partners in our retail and wholesale business.

You will lead a comprehensive approach to building knowledge, skills, and expertise tailored to the diverse profiles of practitioners within Singapore. Your work will be a key enabler in supporting the success of EssilorLuxottica’s innovations, categories, brands, and business priorities.

Main responsibilities  

• Partnering closely with key stakeholders to identify training needs in your focus area and deliver best-in-class training solutions laddering up to business leadership top priorities and objectives
• Development and delivery of consistent and robust professional education programs for internal and external audience: vision care, technical skills, categories, brands
• Measure and monitor the impact of these educational programs and organizing these into coherent learns to offer a continued best-in-class service
• Drive the success of our main learning platform – Leonardo and take advantage of its latest technologies in the development and implementation of educational programs and initiatives for both eyewear and eyecare solutions
• Design and deliver both in-person and virtual classroom, on-line learning, self-study, and complete blended programs to meet business goals and objectives.
• Develop and deliver Continuing Professional Education (CPE) to Optometrists and Opticians that meets OOB requirements
• Develop, nurture, and maintain strategic relations with Independent Medical Experts, Institutions and industry stakeholders to drive thought leadership and ensure that our proposition is differentiated in the minds of eye care professionals

Main requirements

1.    Diploma or Degree in Optometry / Opticianry, with 3+ years of experience in the industry
2.    Registered with Optometrist and Optician Board (OOB)
3.    Experience in the training and development areas is a plus
4.    Solid clinical and technical knowledge in optometry and optics and ability to stay up to date
5.    Good team player with strong interpersonal skills and positive mindset
6.    Excellent communication and presentation skills
7.    Ability to work with and influence stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
