Your Responsibilities

  • Concept Design Support: Assist in the development of architectural and interior design concepts, contributing to the creation of cohesive and functional spaces.
  • Design Development: Assist in the creation and refinement of design concepts, incorporating both architectural and interior design considerations to meet client briefs, budgets, and timelines. Develop designs, taking into consideration technical aspects, relevant codes and standards, and good practices, providing inputs for technical resolution
  • Drafting & Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, using 3D modelling, Revit, and other design software. Prepare presentations to clients, using graphic and design software.
  • Material and Finish Selection: Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with design intent and project requirements. Preparing drafts of material specifications and schedule of finishes
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand design preferences and provide updates on project progress.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with senior team members to coordinate project activities, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Documentation & Administration: Assist in project documentation and tender preparation, ensuring all architectural and interior design components are accurately represented.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in both architecture and interior design.
  • Work closely with consultants from various disciplines on design and technical matters, facilitating the integration of architectural and interior design perspectives.
  • Perform other project-related duties as required

Pre-requisites and Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in architectural and/or interior design roles is preferred. Experience in healthcare, workplace and corporate interiors is an advantage.
  • Well-versed in design, CAD, and 3D modelling software and technologies such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, BIM software (Revit), Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office. Good working knowledge of BIM software eg Revit is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Organised, meticulous, enjoys problem-solving
  • Creative with good aesthetic judgement
  • Possesses sound industry knowledge
  • Takes initiative, works methodically and autonomously, and has good time management skills to meet challenging deadlines and client briefs
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this role. Successful applicants would be asisgned to work on healthcare projects or confidential/high security projects.
