Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement upgrades for AS/400 iASP (iseries) server technologies.
- Manage OS400 security, BRMS backup, operations monitoring, alerting, and data replication.
- Handle 3rd party software like MQ, Thenon, Windows Menu, and Robot products (Schedule, Alert Console).
- Plan, review, and implement OS, PTFs, and 3rd party software upgrades.
Requirements:
- Experience in administering and troubleshooting AS400 systems on iASP model.
- Proficiency in SQL, CL, and MS Office Tools (including MS Access).
- Knowledge of IBM DS8K storage, SAN switches, TCP/IP protocols, and ACS client setup.
- Familiarity with SKLM, spectrum control, Power HA, Admin Domain, and copy services in iASP environment.
- Experience with ITIL processes and network troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for performance issues using IBM iDoctor, DBMON Traces, and Job watcher.
- Ability to work in BAU project support and infrastructure teams, multitask, and manage multiple initiatives.
- Willingness to work after office hours and weekends for deployment activities.
