[What the role is]
The incumbent will join the Finance team at NAC, providing financial insights for organisational strategies and implement policies and procedures for finance and accounting activities.
[What you will be working on]
- Partner internal stakeholders on all budgeting and resource management matters
- Advise internal stakeholders on compliance with financial regulations and guidelines
- Lead the team on budgeting and resource management matters
- Consolidate and assess overall budget requirements at organisation level
- Provide guidance to team members on finance-related matters
- Contribute to timely month-end closing and prepare/review financial schedules and management reports
- Compile and submit ad-hoc returns to government entities
- Identify and propose process improvements
- Support system enhancements and policy reviews
- Evaluate procurement requests
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned
[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge of Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards (SB-FRS) preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial management, reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets
- Excellent multitasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Analytical, resourceful, and proactive, results-oriented team player with strong customer focus
- Positive attitude towards continuous learning
- At least twelve years of relevant experience, with more than 3 years of supervisory experience
