The University Advancement Office (UAO) supports NTUโs giving mission by fostering meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships with philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, corporations that result in goodwill and philanthropy towards education and research.
The Assistant Manager, Advancement Services, is responsible for accurately processing donations, maintaining donor records, and ensuring the Universityโs compliance with relevant regulations. This role supports the universityโs fundraising efforts by fostering strong relationships with donors and enhancing operational efficiency and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Gift Processing: Accurately enter and classify donations in the database, ensuring compliance with donor intent.
Acknowledgment: Generate and send timely thank-you letters to donors, enhancing satisfaction and engagement.
Data Management: Maintain and update donor records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Process Improvement: Work closely with fundraising teams to support campaigns and initiatives, and improve processes to meet the fundraising needs.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and data security protocols.
Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma in Business or Accountancy field.
Knowledge of the nonprofit sector and/or fundraising would be highly advantageous.
Skills:
Meticulous with good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in handling data and numbers.
Good proficiency in MS Excel and data management systems.
