Key Responsibilities:
• Depot Operations Support: Assist in managing day-to-day depot operations, including overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Management: Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels within the depot, support regular stock audits, and assist in reconciling any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the movement of goods in and out of the depot, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation solutions while adhering to operational timelines.
• Warehouse Organization: Assist in the layout and organization of the depot to optimize space utilization and workflow, ensuring that products are stored safely and are easily accessible.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations within the depot. Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, legal requirements, and internal protocols.
• Documentation and Reporting: Support the preparation of inventory reports, shipment tracking documents, and operational metrics. Maintain accurate records of depot activities, including inbound and outbound goods.
• Quality Control: Monitor the condition of goods within the depot to ensure they are in proper condition for dispatch. Assist with handling damaged or non-compliant items and coordinating returns or repairs.
• Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to schedule deliveries, track orders, and resolve any operational issues that may arise during the process.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of depot operations, including reducing turnaround times, minimizing storage costs, and improving overall workflow.
• Customer Service Support: Address any customer inquiries related to depot operations, order status, or product availability. Assist in resolving customer complaints and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.


Requirements

Requirements:
• Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management. Other disciplines with experience in logistics operations management preferable in 3rd party logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment will also be considered
