The job holder will be a subject matter expert in hospital revenue cycle systems (patient accounting and service master). You will also be the primary support for finance-related systems to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day hospital finance operations.

Job responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following:
  • Maintain the integrity of the hospital service master by performing timely and accurate updates to the pricing and costing information for hospital services.
  •  Implement and maintain service prices, subsidies, fee caps and pricing conditions in the system.
  • Proactively understand and apply regulatory changes/ business logic to system configuration relating to pricing conditions and charging rules.
  • Implement new MOH policies and national systems.
  • -    Identify operational issues and address queries from internal stakeholders regarding pricing rules and conditions.
  • -    Perform analysis and investigations to ensure that patient bills and hospital revenue is consistent with system configuration and with proper charging, billing and pricing practices.
  • -    Leverage on data analytics to provide in-depth analysis to identify key drivers and simulate change impact.
  • -    Work with vendors and other stakeholders on troubleshooting, developing solutions, reviewing engineering change proposals (ECPs), and perform System Integration Testing (SIT) or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance systems when necessary.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of upcoming national public healthcare projects like Next Generation Electronic Medical Records, Billing Transformation and Costing Systemisation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on finance system changes, improvements, issues and solutions.
  • Coordinate the activities of Ops, Comms and Finance teams during system implementations and fee revisions.
  • Document process maps which show the interaction between financial systems and operational workflows.
  • Leverage on process maps to provide system support and propose new solutions with changes to policies and workflows.
  • Provide training to other finance colleagues as needed.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as directed.

Requirements
-    Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably in the fields of Computer Science, Statistics, Accountancy, Finance or related fields.
-    Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. 
-    Strong project management or change management skills.
-    Proficiency in MS Office applications, such as Excel (advanced), VBA Macros, Power Point, Word.
-    Proficient in data visualisation tools, like Tableau or Power BI, to transform quantitative analysis into compelling visuals.
-    Familiarity in Python, R or similar programming languages a major plus.
-    Knowledge of SAP FI-CO/ SAP IS-H modules will be an advantage.
-    Highly self-driven, resourceful and organized.
-    Meticulous and has a keen eye for details.
-    Able to work independently or as a team in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
