We’re looking for Offshore Pipeline NDT Engineer to join our team in Singapore for a Pipelaying Project of Natural Gas Subsea Pipeline in East Asia. We welcome Offshore Construction expertise with the relevant experiences to join us for the various PMT positions.  

Project Premises\: 

250km x 36" Natural Gas Subsea Pipeline Project, Taiwan

To install a new Subsea Pipeline and Two (2) Onshore Receiving Facilities which to be commissioned by end of 2028.

As a Offshore Pipeline NDT Engineer, you will be responsible in daily implementation and execution of quality assurance and control surveillance and inspection in ensuring all fabrication, production, construction and installations are complies with project contract, specifications, and codes and standards requirements.

What you’ll do

We are looking for an Offshore Pipeline NDT Engineer to join our team. 

The role responsibilities include:

Lead the NDT Inspectors as described (but not limited to) below:

  •       Daily implementation and execution of quality assurance and control surveillance and inspection in ensuring all fabrication, production, construction and installations are complies with project contract, specifications, and codes and standards requirements
  •       Identify potential non-conformance and opportunity for improvement and issuance of Corrective Action Request (CAR) and follow-up for closeout.
  •       General surveillance, verification and inspection / testing of AUT/NDT related activities before, during and after the fabrication, production, construction, and installation of works. This includes but not limited to ensuring the successful implementation in accordance with the approved AUT/NDT procedure requirements and compliance with acceptance and rejection criteria
  •       Witness and verify correctness of NDT testing procedure, execution and results evaluation  in according to ITP, procedure, code, standard and specification requirements
  •        Surveillance and verification of AUT/NDT apparatus calibration and validity
  •        Ensure Quality deliverables (Inspection & Testing Plan, procedures, training, certification etc.) fit together with site work execution dates for all construction activities
  •        Responsible for carrying out surveillances to ensure successfully implementation of QA activities, surveillances and its deliveries.

Reporting Relationship

  •         Reports to Construction Manager at Site.

HSE Assurance

·      Attends toolbox meetings at regular intervals and proactive reports/intervenes unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

Risk Management

  •   Ensure the execution of Quality Lessons Learned at field.

Interface Management 

  •   Ensure that quality surveillances and inspections with the EPC Contractor at sites is coordinated such that work interfaces and Quality    issues are closely tracked and expediently closed out to safeguard HSE, Quality, cost and delivery schedule.

What you’ll have

  •         Minimum 8 years of experience in subsea gas (oil) pipeline, experience in offshore NDT (RT and UT), stationed on offshore pipeline       laying vessels, and carried out verification of circumferential welds and weld repairs by NDT.
  •        Possess ISO9712 / PCN / ACCP / ASNT NDT Level 2 in PAUT, UT and RT PCN 3.4, CSWIP 3.2.2 or equivalent
  •        Possess other NDT in MT, PT and Welding inspection related qualification in ISO9712 / CSWIP 3.1.1, CWI or equivalent related   experience will be added advantage
  •        Experience in carry out quality assurance audit / surveillance inspections
  •         Ability to ensure verifying implementation of method statement, procedures, inspection and testing plans (ITP) requirements
  •        Obtained American Society for NDT (ASNT) or Taiwan NDT Association or other foreign organizations approved by our company in advance.
