Job Description:

  • Build and develop new commodity sales platforms and provide solutions for clients to broaden product offering and risk management capabilities
  • Work closely with the commodity trading team to find new clients and identify potential hedging/ financing requirements
  • Identify potential customers and means of developing new business in order to increase the commodity related revenue
  • Develop targeted multi-channel campaigns to generate new business opportunities in the commodity areas
  • Assist customers in the formulation and implementation of various strategies
  • Confirm and well execute the transactions with clients
  • Work with other team members on trade ideas and create spreadsheets as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above
  • Minimum 7-10 years related commodity sales/ trading/ structuring experience, with a focus on energy/ferrous/ags/base metals
  • International mind-set with insight in oversea market development
  • High sense of responsibility, strong resilience, excellent business acumen with strong communication, negotiation and management skills
  • Self-driven and smart individuals who look forward to brainstorming on the appropriate derivative solutions for clients
  • Familiar with international business operation procedures, international trade laws and regulations, commodity inspection, customs declaration, shipping, documents, risk control work
  • Excellent command of verbal and written Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
