Java Application Developer
Essential Skills:
· Between 3-8 years of Java development experience in the financial industry, direct experience with treasury business is preferred
· Experience in Microsoft ACCESS development (VBA, Macro), and able to translate existing ACCESS programs into Java equivalent
· Strong knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server Development
· Experience in windows batch script development
· Ability to perform business analysis and requirement gathering
· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
· Able to work independently with minimum supervision
· Preferred skills:
· Experience in Portia System V5.1i report writer’s development will have advantage.
· Able to understand VB6.0 programs
· Good and thorough understanding of bank’s front office and back office operations, finance and accounting
· Good knowledge of treasury products
· Experience in UNIX, preferably Linux (Red hat) and Solaris to the level of checking processes, writing shell scripts and checking log files.
· Strong in Oracle 10g/11G, SQL, PL-SQL
