[What you will be working on]
- Design and deliver flexible learning programmes in business analytics for both pre-employment training (PET) students and continuing education training (CET) professionals, focusing on transferable thinking patterns rather than tool-specific training
- Help new graduates and experienced workers develop skills in Excel, Power BI, and AI tools, adapting your approach for different experience levels and learning goals
- Pioneer process-focused assessment methods that evaluate how learners approach complex problems, justify analytical decisions, and navigate ethical dilemmas when working alongside AI tools
- Coach learners across different career stages in combining human insight with AI capabilities.
- Build learning communities that connect students with working professionals, creating valuable networking and mentorship opportunities
- Build industry partnerships focused on future-ready workforce development
- Supervise poly-wide projects and off-campus industry projects with academic rigour, focusing on research methodologies and analytical thinking
- Participate in outreach activities to promote digital literacy, AI awareness, and lifelong learning to market the school and courses to potential learners
- Provide pastoral care, career guidance, and mentorship to students, including support during internships and career transitions aligned with the evolving digital economy
- Participate in international educational programmes, including accompanying students on overseas learning experiences
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualification in Learning Design, Educational Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, or Computer Science with demonstrated interest in pedagogical innovation
- Minimum 3 years or equivalent intensive experience of learning-focused experience in corporate training, adult education, curriculum development, or technology-enhanced learning environments
- Adaptive learning design expertise with evidence of creating educational experiences that remain relevant despite technological change
- Systems thinking capability - ability to recognise patterns across individual learning psychology, organisational dynamics, and technological evolution
- Candidates should demonstrate analytical fluency through practical experience with business intelligence workflows, data visualisation principles, and process automation thinking - with evidence of adapting these capabilities across evolving technological environments.
- Technology fluency with demonstrated comfort in experimenting with new platforms and helping others navigate technological learning curves
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse professional audiences
- Evidence of adaptive practice - examples of modifying approaches based on changing learner needs or technological developments
Candidates should possess relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Meta-cognitive learning design - creating learning experiences that develop learning-how-to-learn capabilities
- Human-AI collaboration research or practice - understanding when, how, and why to engage AI tools whilst maintaining human agency
- Assessment innovation in rapidly evolving technical fields, particularly process-focused evaluation methods
- Community-of-practice facilitation - building professional learning networks that transcend traditional institutional boundaries
- Digital transformation education - helping professionals adapt to technological change in business contexts
- Cross-sector training delivery spanning education, corporate, and public sector environments
