To handle submission for all Transportation containment inclusion (e.g. new rental ISO Tanks, after office waste collection etc.) to the NEA PCD. This may involve sending the document personally to PCD (at Scott Road) or SCDF for urgent requirement.
To check and verify charges (e.g. Invoices etc.) from supplier / contractor of logistics support function, and to follow-up with any discrepancies. Consolidation of monthly expenditure cost data update (Transportation, Labor, Cost, etc.)
To ensure all logistic personnel are briefed daily on the requirements of waste collection items and customer's requirements. (Drums, CSC, IBC, Skid Bin and ISO Tanker)
To ensure all contractors adhere to the stipulated requirement for waste collection (e.g. PPE, documentation etc.). This includes following up with the contractor on the collection progress, whenever necessary.
To handle queries and request from customer on waste collection requirement. Coordinate with the Sales and Customer Service staffs on issues raised and complaints.
To be responsible for the requirements of the authorities (e.g. NEA PCD, LTA etc.) with matters relating to Logistics.
Ensure that the Vehicle Parking Certificate for all vehicles are renewed annually and complied with the LTA's requirement.
To negotiate with the supplier / contractor with regarding to the cost of their services, and to ensure that proper support is maintain by them.
To develop a KPI for contractors and suppliers for evaluation of their service rendered to ECO.
To manage all staffs in the Logistics dept. include firing and hiring of staffs, conducting interviews and evaluation of performance etc. This also involves in coordinating for the training requirement for the Facility Staff, and to put up to the HR for the training date.
To report on monthly progress concerning cost reduction measures, bottlenecks and solutions to the senior management.
To attend Plant-level coordination meeting (e.g. EHS meeting, Operation meeting, Sales meeting etc.)
To attend the ISO14001 Environmental Management System with regards to Logistics Transport issues.
To back-up the Supervisor on the Transportation scheduling and other administration issue. This also involved the allocation of ISO Tanks and staff overtime works.
To plan for the Logistics Transport capacity requirement (e.g. Pumps, Hoses, Trucks etc.)
To handle the petty cash for the Logistics Department. This involved the direct handing over of the cash money to the Logistics personnel.
Coordinate with Account, Human Resource, Operation & Logistics-Transport section for Transport Fleet inspection. Update data in the Fleet Data.
To follow up on the maintenance program for all Logistics Equipment, inclusive of pumps, trucks, tankers, chassis etc. This involves in gathering an internal team to do the job, or out-sourcing for competence contractor.
To update the logistics transport records and monthly logistics transport report (Costing, Budget, Expenses etc).
Maintain proper housekeeping of the truck parking area.
To monitor the fuel consumption of the vehicles and MHEs and investigate into any misuse/abuse of the vehicles and MHEs detected through any unusually high consumption of fuel.
To work closely with Operation and Marketing so that timely collection of waste are carried out to meet customer's requirements.
To ensure all team leaders check on the cleanliness of their individual area of responsibility in the Logistics Department. (e.g. Pumps, Hoses, Trucks etc)
