Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes for the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

  • Interface with other engineering functions to coordinate product improvements and/or new product releases.

  • Launch, release, approve, and implement engineering change requests to support design engineering and operations for new and existing products.

  • Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.

  • Apply DFx principles to reduce manufacturing and/or product costs and improve delivered product quality.

  • Develop and use test procedures, assist with defining test specifications with design/software engineering.

  • Collaborate with test engineering on the design and development of test fixtures; assist in coordinating test fixture sourcing activities.

  • Gather operational and test data, evaluate results, and implement corrective/continuous improvement actions.

  • Evaluate work methods, procedures, and policies; participate in developing and maintaining business processes, updating documentation as necessary.

  • Conduct root cause analyses for both internal and field non-conformances (NCs) and provide robust engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.

  • Actively support NPI builds on the floor and provide troubleshooting for issue resolution.

  • Ensure completion of all sustaining activities for NPI builds, such as ESW, SPS , DMRs and IOMS mapping.

  • Initiate and drive high-impact engineering projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing labor hours.

  • Determine root cause and corrective action analysis for issues during assembly and/or test of systems; provide failure analysis reports as required.

  • Perform Process Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) when working with new product development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering studies

  • Prior working experiences in semiconductor industry managing new product transition regionally

  • Positive working mindset with a willingness to learn attitude

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Resourceful, hands-on and proactive
