[What the role is]
To protect the health of Singaporeans by reducing the burden of communicable diseases through evidence-based policy formulation, the implementation of effective disease prevention and control programmes, including epidemiological surveillance programmes and timely outbreak response and management.[What you will be working on]
Key Job Responsibilities:
Formulation, implementation, monitoring and review of disease prevention and control strategies
Develop and implement surveillance programmes
Provide technical subject matter expertise for travel health
Programme management and administration
[What we are looking for]
Job Requirements:
Preferably with life science, medical, nursing, Public Health or Epidemiology background
Minimum 2-3 years work experience work experience in public health or travel medicine Strong analytical skillsets, including grasp of data analysis techniques
Ability to work under pressure and simultaneously on different projects
Excellent organisational skills and resourcefulness
Good inter-personal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across disciplines
Willing to work beyond office hours, especially during outbreaks.
Continuously keep up-to-date on new developments in the communicable diseases field
