Our client is a leading US software company in the Business Intelligence Space.

Job Description

The Candidate has the responsibility to develop new business and sales in the field of Analytics in their assigned territory. This role focuses on direct business from target accounts/verticals to generate business for “The Company”. He/she carries a personal quota, comprised of license and 1st year support and has a separate quota for professional services.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsibility for all aspects of consultative selling “The Company” Advanced and Predictive Analytics software including territory / pipeline management, opportunity identification and generation, understanding & analysis of the business challenges, leading POCs, demonstrations, client workshops and presentations, quotes / pricing, negotiation and other proposal sales activities
  • maintaining accurate and precise sales forecast in Salesforce.com
  • achieving sales targets detailed in compensation plan
  • Working within a team and contribute to its development and success

Qualifications

Solid experience of Consultative Software Selling of analytical business solutions

  • Proven track record of over-achievement selling high value, enterprise software
  • Ability to identify business opportunities that can be addressed by “The Company” software
  • Demonstrate  excellent  communication  and  interpersonal  skills  to  initiate  and  maintain  executive-level interaction
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, challenge driven and able to produce results and new business; passionate about being successful in the job
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude; demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach in achieving targets
  • Close working relationships with senior commercial players at key customers
  • Technical aptitude – preferably in Analytics, Predictive, Data Mining or other closely related data applications
  • Experience in selling to Marketing Departments (Customer Analytics) or Healthcare or Government sectors
  • Experience in selling tools such as SAS, KxeN, SPSS, Experian, etc will be an advantage
