[What you will be working on]
The role involves overseeing the planning and execution of technical elements for productions, including lighting, sound, set design and effects, while collaborating with creative teams to align production plans with artistic vision. It also includes troubleshooting technical challenges and coordinating with venue technicians as needed. Additionally, the role requires leading and mentoring student crew, including lighting technicians, sound engineers and stagehands for ITE productions, as well as a CeMTA CCA group to support studentsβ artistic development and personal growth through training and performances.
[What we are looking for]
You should have at least two years of relevant experience in technical production for stage productions, as well as experience working with youths, preferably between the ages of 13 and 21. A strong understanding of stage production technologies, including lighting, sound and rigging, is essential, along with proficiency in industry-standard stage production software. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication, people management and organisational skills.
