- We are looking for a Java Developer who communicate with our engineering team to produce the most effective products that delight our clients.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Design, build and test solutions for various modules
· Meet up with customers to gather requirements when necessary
· Perform post – rollout maintenance work such as solving of problem reports or development of change requests
· Produce the necessary documentation for modules developed
· Assist in the conducting of User Acceptance Tests (UAT) prior to rollout of applications
· Perform other ad – hoc activities as required by the Authority
· Explore new technologies and assess them
Requirements:
· Experience in four or more of the following skills: Java, EJB, JSP, JSF, Hibernate, JEE 5 and above, Struts, PL/ SQL, Oracle database version 11g and 12c, XML
· Experience in handling system – to – system backend interfaces is highly preferred
· Experience in software and database design, Weblogic application server, UML modelling tools is preferred
· Proficient in spoken and written English
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Knowledge and experience in Procurement processes and financial systems would be preferred
· Experience in the Government Procurement System or other similar systems would be preferred
