About the Role
We are seeking a TA Engineer/DBA to support the design, administration, and continuous operation of enterprise applications and database environments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system reliability, availability, and performance across multiple platforms, contributing directly to business continuity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support multiple application platforms, ensuring stable operations, patching, and issue resolution
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical input on integration points such as web services, messaging queues, SFTP, and databases
• Implement and maintain operational processes including OS patching, application patching, backup, recovery, and housekeeping activities
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and fault-tolerant configurations
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and service disruption
• Administer and maintain Oracle and/or MS SQL databases, ensuring performance optimization and data integrity
• Support security compliance by implementing system hardening and vulnerability remediation practices
• Provide operational support when required, including responding to incidents outside business hours

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle 19c database administration
• Strong foundational knowledge in networking and server administration (Windows and Unix/Linux)
• Understanding of enterprise 3-tier application architecture
• Experience supporting high availability and fault-tolerant systems
• Hands-on experience in database administration (Oracle and/or MS SQL)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure layers
• Strong foundational knowledge in networking and server administration (Windows and Unix/Linux)

• Experience supporting high availability and fault-tolerant systems
• Hands-on experience in database administration (Oracle and/or MS SQL)

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of web application architecture from front-end to backend systems
• Exposure to virtualization, containerization, and cloud infrastructure concepts
• Experience with IT security practices including system hardening and vulnerability assessments
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate (OGG), Oracle AWR reports, and Oracle RAC setup
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
